BrA'Zine was founded in 2004 as an e-zine dedicated to metal, punk and hardcore for both the local music scene in West Virginia and the national hard music scene. BrA'Zine offers national and local music news, as well as updated show listings per city, free downloads, streaming local music (BrA'Zine Radio), CD reviews and interviews.

Since BrA'Zine's founding, it has been wholly-owned by Honeking Productions, a concert promoter/music promotions company based in West Virginia. The word BrA'Zine is actually a combination of two words: "brazen" and "magazine" (or more specifically, "e-zine") and the proper pronuciation is: Bray-Zeen.
